Welcome to the Justice College Library, where students have access to a wide range of resources to support their academic journey. Our collection includes online books, digital databases, and online journals, providing tools to enhance learning and research. Whether you’re looking to deepen your understanding of course materials or explore new topics, our library is here to help every step of the way.

Resources
At Justice College, students have full access to the EBSCO online library, offering thousands of eBooks, academic journals, and research papers. This powerful resource supports a wide range of subjects, ensuring students have what they need for their studies. Click here to log into the EBSCO.
 

We also provide access to Academic OneFile, a robust database of scholarly articles covering numerous disciplines. Additionally, students can register for the Maricopa County Library District for even more resources. Get your free library card here.
 

To further support your research, we’ve included a link to Google Scholar, giving you access to a vast collection of academic papers and citations.

Staff
Frank Patterson brings over 21 years of experience to Justice College, having worked in both college and public libraries. Most recently, he has served as a region manager for the Maricopa County Library District, overseeing five branches. Frank holds a B.A. in History and Anthropology from Arizona State University and an M.A. in Library and Information Science from the University of Arizona. His extensive background in managing library resources and supporting academic communities makes him a valuable resource for our students.

In-Person
In addition to our online resources, Justice College is a proud member of the Theological Library Cooperative of Arizona, granting students access to over 160,000 additional resources. This partnership includes libraries such as American Indian College, Arizona Christian University, Grand Canyon University, International Baptist College, Kino Institute, La Vita House, and Phoenix Seminary. Students can explore these resources to enhance their academic experience by contacting the libraries directly or visiting in person.

Students at Justice College can also access physical books through Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) and the Perry Branch Library in Gilbert. To use these libraries, students must present a valid Justice College student ID for entry, offering them a broader range of materials for academic research and study.

Unlike standard search engines, Google Scholar is tailored for peer-reviewed research and academic publications, ensuring reliable and credible information. It’s an essential tool for college students starting their academic journey, providing access to a vast array of resources from universities, libraries, and publishers globally. Features such as citation tracking, related articles, and direct links to available full texts make it easier to dive deeper into topics and gather credible sources for essays, research projects, or assignments.
 

Google Books

https://books.google.com serves as a vast online library where students can search for and preview millions of books on a multitude of topics and genres. It's an invaluable resource for college students seeking supplementary reading material, research references, or textbooks. With an intuitive search function, users can easily find books on specific topics, authors, or titles, viewing snippets or full sections based on availability. For fully digitized books, Google Books offers direct access to the entire text, and if full books aren't available, the platform links to libraries or sellers for access to the material.
 

Christian Classics Ethereal Library

http://www.ccel.org is an online repository of classic Christian texts, granting students access to theological, historical, and devotional works by notable Christian thinkers. Featuring influential works from figures like Augustine, Origen, Martin Luther, and John Calvin, CCEL is a valuable resource for students studying theology, religious history, philosophy, or literature. It allows easy access to primary sources essential for understanding Christian doctrine and its impact on Western culture, with options for downloading, navigation, and study tools to make exploring Christian classics both accessible and convenient.
 

HathiTrust

https://www.hathitrust.org is a digital library offering students access to millions of books, journals, and academic materials from libraries worldwide. Dedicated to preserving knowledge, HathiTrust allows students to search, view, and, in many cases, download full texts of public domain works. This platform is a valuable resource for research projects, providing a vast collection of historical and contemporary materials across numerous disciplines, making it easy for deep scholarly exploration of primary sources, academic texts, and rare manuscripts.
 

Internet Archive: Text Archive

https://archive.org/details/texts is a free digital library providing students with access to a wide-ranging collection of books, journals, and other textual resources. Covering literature, history, science, and more, the Text Archive offers millions of digitized texts, including rare, historical, and out-of-print works. Students can search, read, and download materials in various formats, such as PDF, ePub, or Kindle, making it ideal for both research and personal study. JSTOR

https://www.jstor.org is a popular digital library offering students access to a wealth of scholarly articles, books, and primary sources across numerous academic fields. While JSTOR is typically subscription-based, students can utilize the "Read Online" feature to access up to 100 free articles per month by creating a personal account. This feature makes JSTOR an excellent resource for research, papers, and accessing credible academic sources. Covering humanities, social sciences, sciences, and more, JSTOR enables students to explore and gather reliable materials for academic work without requiring a full subscription.
